We at Queen of Peace thank you for your offer of service on behalf of our diocese. We work to bring the message of Christ and his healing presence to everyone. We are devoted to the mission of Jesus Christ and to the treatment of every single person, especially our beloved young, with dignity and in the spirit of the Gospel of Christ.
As required by diocesan policy, all priests, deacons, seminarians, employees, and volunteers (who will have regular contact with young people), must have a criminal background check prior to beginning their service and every FOUR (4) years after that, as well as undergo Safe Environment Training every TWO (2) years.
A Volunteer Application shall be completed, signed and returned to the parish office along with a copy of a valid government-issued ID/driver's license. The coordinator will then create your profile and notify you with instructions to begin your training. Please do NOT sign up for training prior to the initial forms submittal.
Adult Volunteers (age 18+) will be directed to a link for the Catholic Mutual Group (CMG Connect) for necessary training.
Youth Volunteers (under age 18) will be completing the commitment and authorization form accompanying the Code of Conduct for Youth Working with Younger Children. Parents of youth volunteers must also sign this form. Youth volunteers should NOT attempt to create an account with CMG Connect.
Contact the Safe Environment Coordinator in the parish office with any questions you have.
Thank you for your commitment to protecting our children and young people!
